Sunflower days

The sunflowers have just started to come out in force.

I can look into my garden, and see them, the volenteer sunflower that demanded to come back this year from the seeds the squirrels left behind last fall is more than ten feet tall. I am looking up taking this picture, with zoom. lol!

Beautiful. I am considering to plant some sunflowers in my garden next year, as I will be revamping the entire garden. Unfortunately, it hasn't grown very well, due to trees in the park on the other side of the fence sucking up all the moisture. Hopefully we can get a nicer garden there next year. :)

Thanks ladies! I just looked up and saw these beautiful flowers a good 5 feet above my head and had to snap a shot of them. :)

I love sunflowers Terri. I don't think I will ever have a garden without them. This year I tried and failed at putting in a sunflower house (it barely made 4 ft high and didn't fill in at all because the spot I put it in only gets sun for two or three hours a day... I thought it got much more sun than that) and so I have fewer than I ever have before and they still make me happy. Find a sunny spot and drop some in... for sure! :)
