Top section of my linen closet. I paired down to 6 towels, only the white wash clothes (we use 4 a day at least), and three hand towels (which we don't use). I got rid of all towels that didn't match and that had holes or stains.
Here is the second half of the closet. I paired down to two sets of sheets for everyone but Logan (who got three), including pillow cases, and extra blankets (which now all fit neatly on a shelf in Cyan's closet). The car blanket, a really nice extra set of curtians, and table clothes are here too.
Below is the result of my deep cleaning frenzy in the linen closet. I have four of these bags and 3 Trader Joe's paper bags full right now, ready to go. And I am not even started yet. LOL!
For someone who just moved, I have a lot of crap I don't need. Honestly, the last move happened so fast, I really didn't have time to do this. So as I paired down a lot, my thoughts were more towards what I would need than what I would not. This time it is all different.

You are lucky that you HAVE a linen closet! I have an old trunk that I use and dont get me wrong, I love my old trunk, but I'd love to have a linen closet sometimes. :)
I so need to do this. If I don't, the next time I open the linen closet door, my life may be in jeopardy! Thanks for the reminder, and the inspiration! :-)
Your closet looks nice and clutter-free.
