We loved doing the calendar of crafts on Advent, so I decided to do it again for Valentine's!
Every day between now and Valentine's Day we have a craft, activity, or fun outing scheduled.
I took a long white stick and hung these cardstock circles (Tehehee... cardstock!) with the dates on one side and the activities on the other. The kids were looking through them with awe. Some of them I kept 'secret' and just said things like "I love the forest", or "spread some love", and some were more specific, like "make heart shaped pizza" or "Cultivate party day!" (our homeschool group). It should be a great two weeks. :)

Really fantastic idea Val! Now I'm sitting here at 5:30am trying to decide if I need to copy you right this second or log it away for next year....
What a wonderful idea. So charming to look at too!
Considering that this is my birthday month, too, I'm trying to think of oodles of extra lovely things to do each day too. I may have missed out today, though... shoot. February 1st struck before I was ready! (I'll start tomorrow) My biggest plans are for the big day (OUR big day, in fact), and Valentine's Day, but I'm hoping to spread the scrumptiousness to the rest of the month too. Tomorrow is cupcake day.
Great idea, and I would have never thought to do this for Valentine's Day, but why not?? Also, how many of those cards say "Give Mama some love"? I would include at least 5 of those! :-)
Valerie: Only the one. It's on my birthday which is the 9th. There is "Show some love" and "For the love of Light" too (for Candlemas tomorrow, where we are making beeswax candles). Fun stuff!!
Love Val
That looks charming! Efficient too, as I'd write messages to the hubby like "No use of play station for a week" or "Make the bed for a change"..!!
What a wonderful idea! I'm going ot file this away for next year!
