It is a cute, but dark, picture of Logan playing with the kids kitchen set. This set has been in storage for about a year. It was in Cyan's room for a while, and then when we first moved to the Tuckaway House we had it in the greatroom... but that didn't last long. Logan was just too messy with the kitchen stuff. So I got rid of a bunch of stuff and then put it in storage. Now that he is almost 2 1/2 (can you believe it!?!) I thought I would try to bring it out again and so far (for the last three days anyway) it has been a total success. I have eaten lots of creations and helped make lots of "soups" in his little pot. Right here he is cutting a pear in half to put into his soup pot. All in all it captures a daily moment in his little life and I am glad to be able to share the pic. Thanks for the tag, Sunder!

did you make this totally from scratch or was it a piece of furniture that you re-purposed? I love it and hope to do something similar for my girls :)
I made it. It was complicated and not something I would do again. BUT... the first one I made was super simple and I LOVED it! I still wish it hadn't broke. Here is a link to the plans (I will comment this on your blog too. :) )
