What month is it? Oh yeah.
October. But this season October is the first month we have gotten tomatoes bigger than cherries. I am having to order tomatoes for sauce. Order them. Kinda blown away. But here is a beautiful picture, of my beautiful daughter with our first tomato of the season, picked October 10
th, 2010. It was good in our salad that night at least. :P

gosh...it's been a dismal year for our gardens, hasn't it? Even the CSA we go to has had a very small bounty. I blame it on this cold, wet weather we had all summer. We had a handful of tomatoes, mostly small cherries. And a handful of green tomatoes. I never was able to can salsa or sauce.
