The beauty of a dark, PNW autumn

The darkness has come over the PNW again this year.  Beautiful, foggy mornings.... thick, dark, rainy afternoons.  In between crazy canning sessions, starting school and school groups, and getting last minute sunny day projects while there are still rare sunny days warm enough to do outdoor projects, I wander with my camera, capturing the beauty that is these unpredictable days.

Just for good measure, I decided to teach myself how to take pictures of the harvest moon.  Unfortunately, it hasn't been clear enough to see it again since the night I took this.  So I am very glad I got such a good shot on my first try!

Farewell, dearest sunshine!  See you next May!

Sincerely,
The Entire PNW

So true! The light here in the PNW changes dramatically, and seemingly overnight. Just this past Saturday the wind was blowing strong, the light was dim, and suddenly it felt like autumn. I enjoy the change, as autumn is my favorite season, especially the change in the light. It feels magical.

Such a beautiful place! So much of this area feels magical as the seasons change. 😊

Some options within the family gardens will be designed with the longer term in mind. as an example, a sand pit will eventually be become a water feature.

I'm extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a great blog like this one nowadays. yahoo login mail
