Morning Sickness

What a ridiculous name.

I am sick all the time.

The last week has made me realise why we were 'done' having babies with Logan. I keep wondering if my kids can live on freezer meals and take out and exactly how bad my house can get before I get off the couch. My sense of smell is overwhelming all the time. The lady smoking two houses down can get me gagging. The dinner from the night before, tucked away in it's airtight glass container in the fridge can turn my stomach. I smell EVERYTHING. It seems that there are just no 'safe' foods this time. Coffee makes me sick, mint and lemon both smell horrible to me, and even fresh fruit and veggies I can't do right now.

That's all... this is nothing but a pathetic whine.

I remember those days, and don't envy you at all - except a new little, fresh baby...that I envy :)

Whine away, you're pregnant and definitely entitled to it!! I remember not wanting to eat ANYTHING in the beginning, it sucked. Baby incubating is tough work. I hope it gets better for you soon!!

This is the time that it becomes okay to eat Cheetos for dinner. That is about the only thing that sounded good to me for awhile with my 2nd. Hang in there! This too shall pass.

First - congratulations on being pregnant!! But sorry you're so sick. Hope it doesn't last long. About the only thing I could eat with my first was plums.

Hope you feel better soon! I just got out of that phase of this pregnancy and I don't know what I was thinking when I thought, "being pregnant isn't so bad". That was, of course before I got pregnant. But now that I'm past the sick stage I am thinking it all over again. I guess I'm grateful that it is temporary and that I'm forgetful. I hope you are forgetful too! And hang in there until it passes.

HUGS! I had that with both pregnancies and lost a lot of weight. Was actually put on Zofran with the 2nd one. It'll pass. And even though I already knew I was done, you've just reminded me why again. ;)

I don't know if this will help you or make you worse - but I feel the need to share it. Mostly because I wish I could have had the oportunity to try it with my first baby. I too was sick 24/7! I weighed less when I gave birth than when I got pregnant! 8 1/2 months of throwing up everything that went in. Anyway, on my fourth pregnancy I read somewhere that pickle brine (juice) was good for nausea. I tried it and loved it. I would keep a little glass of it with me at all times and just sip it all day. Kept the nausea down until I got past that stage.
I know you've been given a million solutions - just giving you one more to try. :0)
Good luck and congratulations!
