We have been working on bedrooms the whole first half of this year. Things are slow going but slowly but surely they are getting done. This week I finally got Cyan’s decals up in her room and finished her trim painting. She still needs upper molding, we have to fix and paint her bedframe, and her vanity area isn’t set up yet but for now, I think her room looks great!

Her window ledge has her very first plant that is all hers on it. She loves her spider baby! It also has something else she has never been able to have before:
Candles! I never really saw the benefit of the LED candles before this last October. My friend got her kids some so they could have their jack-o-lanterns in their room. I followed suit and my kids have just LOVED being able to have these sweet little fake fire starters ever since.
Logan and Luke’s room is coming along nicely too. Just like Cyan’s, there is still tons of stuff to do. We still have to hang pictures, paint Logan’s bedside shelf, and sand down the floor (which was damaged by previous owners dog)… but I am loving how well everything fits and they still have room to play.

And those Ikea drawers? Yeah… those are awesome!
They have their wooden trains, wooden animals, fabric puppets, nesting wooden rainbows, Star Wars toys, and Logan’s Cars car collection. All fit neatly into that small space. I have to say, I am completely sold on Trofast. I LOVE them!

Hi Val! You are doing a very nice job on the rooms! And your kids are beautifull! Where didm you get that tree on the wall? I was planning something similar for my boy and your tree is perfect!
That tree was a birthday gift from my best friend 3 years ago. So honstly I am not sure if you can still get it, but I got the vinal decals from Etsy for my daughters room and they had HUNDREDS of different kinds to choose from! I am sure you can find something like it there. :) Good luck!!
