My first onion braid!

These onions have been so satisfying!

To braid them I followed along with this video on how to braid garlic… it worked out great! I could hang them on my wall or tuck them in a basket and either way they are cured and all ready for eating. YUM!

Too funny- yet again we are doing the same thing on oppostite ends of the US. I just printed out directions to braid onions at work this morning. Hope all is going well for you. Too busy with the garden at work to spend time onmy own.

What kind of onions are they? I have tried for two years to grow onions to put up and they just don't get very big at all.

Hi Jennifer! They are Walla Walla sweet onions. :) They get REALLY big if you let them, but I spaced them closer together as to get more usable sizes.
