2014-2015 School Interviews & A Graduate!!

Interviews are a yearly tradition in our house at the start of the school year.  I like to ask similar questions from year to year so that I can see how the kids change and grow.  This year we are SUPER late with this tradition, but I couldn't just skip it.  So here is our October edition of first day of school interviews.
Cyan - age 13

Favorites:
Color- Teal and rusty orange
Animals - Zebra
Food - potatoes
Book - New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
What do you want to learn this year?
How to be better on stage and sing better.  I want to learn how to take care of a farm, but I am not sure how to do that without a farm and a cow.  I want to learn how to milk a cow, too.  Nothing else.  But I want to learn about living like a pioneer but I don't think there is a way to do that.  But if we did, we could do it like in Frontier House and we'd have meat chickens with no names and egg chickens with names.  I think everyone would like it, but daddy...  daddy is a city person.
Logan - age 7
Favorites:
Color - Dark, dark, dark red
Animal - I like cheetahs and thorny devil lizard and koala
Food - Mac & Cheese and Pizza
What do you want to learn this year?
About what??  Um... I kinda want to learn minecraft.  Wood whittling with a knife.  That's kinda the only thing I actually want to learn.  I want to learn about dinosaurs but I don't think as a class for that.  That not in public school.  Maybe we could go to a museum about dinosaurs?  I kinda want to go to the Children's Museum with the Fire Truck.
We have another exciting thing happening this school year!  My oldest is GRADUATING!  He will be graduating from the local public school which we put him in a year and a half ago.  But it is happening!  He gets to graduate!
