I took a walk through the garden and came out and my sweet puppy, now 4.5 months old, was waiting for me. I gathered a few eggs, picked an apple to see if it was ripe, and harvested some chard for dinner. On this 1/4 acre on the edge of the city, my space keeps me sane, and my puppies keep me company. The sun came out of the mist as I was out there… October has been beautiful so far… and I just couldn’t help thinking how amazing this world is and how happy I am to be a part of it.
