I started priming the homeschool room yesterday. We tinted the primer the same color we are going to paint so they would both go on super smooth and flawless looking. And WOW. This room was SO dark. I took these pictures at 10 pm last night:
The trim and doors in the house will be painted white. Then the shelves that made up the pantry in the other house will be their arts and crafts shelves in this room behind the door to the living room. These big shelves will go in here as well (not painted... just like that) for all of our books and binders, and then I will get a white board or chalk board for the large wall with the map along side. I can't wait to see it finished. It should be done by this weekend and we should be in buisness.
In other news, the garden is planted. :) It was too dark when I finished last night so I didn't get to take pictures but those are coming and I can't wait to share the beauty of urban garden bounty with you all! (It is afterall, pretty much my favorite thing in the world!)

That is going to look great! I don't like that dark paneling at all, but it looks decent when painted over. Will make a HUGE difference in the feeling of the room, for sure! Way to go! Can't wait to see it when it is done!
