Sunday Morning

My Paperwhite that I bought has finally started blooming... happy Sunday to me!

Today is the second to last day in a 9 day week for my husband working 10 hour days on the swing shift. Actually he had one day off in the middle... in which we attended a funeral. His weekend this week was taken up with training. It has been a super long week... but the kids and I are doing alright. Ie: actually getting school done and still having some fun. We have to make it through today, and then tomorrow Don is in another memorial. Then we have four days off in a row.

I think we can make it... but I am one tired mama.

That scheduled sounds rough - but still, what a beautiful flower!

*phew* I'm tired just from reading about it. Sounds like the light at the end of the tunnel. So sorry to hear about all the memorial services, and that Don has been working so hard lately... You guys are going to really enjoy some quality time together when he's home for four days. Hang in there!

This last memorial is a little easier to stomach. The person in question actually had a heart attack and ran is car off of a hill. It is terribly sad, but he didn't fall in the line of duty as the other 6 did... so as much as it is a tragity, I am able to make it through this one much easier than the last 3 memorials. I am ready for the PD deaths to end though... let me tell you. I am not ok with this still happening. I am really ready for it to end.

HUGS! And just cause you have the bento link with this post, have you been to Daiso? Japanese dollar store type of place. I tried to find it in Federal Way after we moved here but didn't quite make it. Everyone raves about the super cool finds though.

I HAVE been there. :) I love it. I get all my stainless bento from there for $1.50 each. They have been my bento staples forever.

The easiest way to get there, is to get off 1-5 at 320th street exit, go towards the mall, and turn into the spot where the Mongolian Grill is. That entrance, and just slightly to the left is the Daiso. It is wonderful... you should go. :)

Have a beautiful night!

(oh! I just noticed what post you were refering to. The 'tiffin tin' type bentos I got from World Market. But all my bentos are now stainless.)
