Wow! It's really looking great.

We just put our seeds in, due to late, late frosts, and then too much rain - so I don't hold out much hope for our garden.

But, it's nice to see yours growing! :)

Yes, it is WET! We have had two days of no rain in WEEKS now... the rest of the time it has rained, and then poured, and then rained some more. Like today... yesterday it was overcast, today it is pouring. Ugh... Someday we will have a summer. ;)

Blessings,

Val

I seriously can't believe how much less than an hour drive will do for growing stuff. JEALOUS of your garden!

I can't believe how big everything is! I feel like my garden's growth is stunted, LOL. It all just seems to stay the same size!!

oh my, it is lovely. i apparently spent every last bit of energy i had growing a baby and did not get a garden in this year. i am sad each time i stand and look out the window at my empty garden space, but i do have this sweet little one to cheer me right up, so it is all good.

anyway, your garden is amazingly beautiful, friend.

Shirley, I really think it is the soil I buy. The half horse manure just seems to make everything so HAPPY! This weather sucks, but the soil is good and so it is a good year for broccoli... and my tomatoes are completely stunted. The ones that are not dying that is. ;)

Erika, you still have time to throw in some tomatoes, but honestly, if you don't have a garden at all this year, don't regret it. The time off is well diserved. :) Snuggle that beautiful babe for me. :)

Blessings,

Val

I LOVE your garden! I've been following your blog for a few months now and I wanted to let you know how truly inspiring you have been on my journey to a greener, healthier life.

I recently relocated to Washington from Sacramento, CA and have a beautiful piece of land that is begging for me to plant some veggies and flowers. I was wondering if you had any suggestions of what to plant, or just plain growing things in the Pacific Northwest, it's very different from hot and humid Sacramento. I know it's late in the growing game as well...

Thank you for all your wonderful inspiration!
