It's week two of our farmers market travels and this week we found some great stuff!
The List: Lettuce, asparagus, snow peas, young Walla Walla onions, pears, cherries, braising greens, and 5 potato plants! We also got some more beef jerky and an amazing salsa that we ate with some Tillamook cheese and GMO free corn chips for lunch that day. YUM!!!I got to add more than just herbs and salad greens to our local diet today! Broccoli! A full crown of broccoli for our stir fry, and several more that are about half sized. I can see pea flowers starting to come on too...

Yay!! We ate local salad for week two and picked our first peas off the vine today -- a perfect after school snack. : )
