That first one is a picture taken with my cell... ie: no zoom! That is how close they were. A whole family of them. As we continued down the path, we were stopped by several more packs of raccoons that had obviously been fed by people (paws on our car, running to a moving van, etc) which is so amazingly sad. Cuz once the park starts cracking down on that, the new babies will die. We saw 18 in all... it was about noon.

The second pic is from my poetry class. This is what my kids and I made up this week. It made my heart sing to hear some of the poems from the class. Truly a sweet moment indeed.
